KTM X-BOW Onroad GmbH is not only unveiling two new variants of the radical KTM X-BOW GT-XR supercar. Rather, under its new owners – a Belgian investor group led by Guillaume De Mevius, which has been the sole owner of KTM X-BOW Onroad GmbH since October 2025 – the company is entering a new era.
Over 1,500 KTM X-BOWs have been produced to date; now, the vehicle concept – developed using expertise from circuit racing – is undergoing exciting innovations, particularly in terms of performance and driving experience, thereby opening a new and thrilling chapter in its ongoing development.
KTM X-BOW GT-XR – Even better in every respect
The KTM X-BOW GT-XR remains one of the purest and most extreme high-performance supercars. Its ultra-light full-carbon monocoque, its racing-derived chassis and its razor-sharp handling form the foundation that continues to set it apart from all its competitors. Extreme rigidity, outstanding power-to-weight ratio and an uncompromising focus on the driver are the hallmarks of the KTM X-BOW GT-XR – whether on the road or on the racetrack. These core strengths remain unchanged and form the perfect foundation for the new variants. Furthermore, every new KTM X-BOW GT-XR is now delivered as standard with upgrades that make this exceptional Austrian supercar even better.
Multimedia system
Every new KTM X-BOW GT-XR now comes as standard with a high-resolution 7-inch multimedia display featuring an integrated sound system and Bluetooth. On the road, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ensure seamless connectivity and everyday convenience. On the racetrack, the display provides key performance data such as a G-meter, lap time measurement and temperature readings. An optional CAN-TPMS further expands the available telemetry functions. One display for two worlds: connected on the road, focused on the racetrack.
Rear-view mirrors
New, standard-fit, homologated full-carbon exterior mirrors replace the previous camera-based system. They offer an immediate, precise and distortion-free view to the rear. Thanks to their fold-away design, the vehicle’s overall width is maintained when required. The camera system remains available as an option.
Capristo exhaust system
The new exhaust system, developed in collaboration with the premium exhaust manufacturer Capristo, is now standard equipment on every KTM X-BOW GT-XR. It is fully approved for road use within the EU and designed to meet all relevant type-approval requirements. It reduces exhaust back-pressure and optimises exhaust flow to enable higher power output and improve the overall performance of the powertrain.
The KTM X-BOW GT-XR Spyder – Open to everything
The KTM X-BOW GT-XR Spyder brings back the experience of an open-top two-seater and places emotion and spontaneity at the heart of the driving experience. Thanks to various roof configurations, the driver can instantly adapt the vehicle to the situation at hand. An integrated solution allows the roof elements to be conveniently stowed in the boot, ensuring a seamless transition between open-top and closed-top driving.
Driving without a roof brings the driver closer to the road, the sound of the engine, the surroundings – and even the stars. Yet safety remains uncompromised: the roof structure can withstand around six times the vehicle’s weight, thus ensuring safety and protection whilst the increase in weight remains negligible.
A removable roof spoiler, developed specifically for the KTM X-BOW GT-XR Spyder, reduces turbulence and wind noise when driving with the roof down, without compromising performance. It allows the driver to enjoy the intense sound of the engine to the full whilst remaining calm even at higher speeds.
KTM X-BOW GT-XR EVO – Unleash the beast
The new KTM X-BOW GT-XR EVO sets new standards in terms of performance. By combining the power boost of the ‘Factory 600’ package with the optimised aerodynamics of the EVO Aero Kit, this lightweight super sports car offers an even more intense, direct and emotional driving experience, bringing it closer than ever to its GT racing DNA.
The Factory 600 package – From the racetrack to the road
The ‘Factory 600’ package boosts the KTM X-BOW GT-XR’s power output from 500 to a breathtaking 600 PS, and its torque from 581 to up to 680 Nm. Four specially developed components form a finely tuned system that delivers more direct throttle response, stronger acceleration, improved cooling and greater revving ability. The result is a car that feels more direct, dynamic and responsive with every twist of the throttle. The ‘Factory 600’ package is available both as original equipment and as a retrofit kit for owners of an existing KTM X-BOW GT-XR.
High-performance intake manifold: Larger and less restrictive for improved airflow, better cylinder filling, more precise response and lower back pressure.
High-performance turbocharger: Larger turbine and compressor wheels (both with a 7 mm increase in diameter), optimised geometry and reinforced bearings. The number of blades on the turbine wheel has been increased from 7 to 9. It is made from high-temperature-resistant Inconel and enables a boost pressure of up to 2.9 bar whilst offering improved thermal stability.
High-performance air intake: A shorter, wider intake duct with a larger air filter and a repositioned air filter housing ensures a faster supply of cooler air, lower pressure losses and improved throttle response.
High-performance intercooler: Optimised inlet and outlet geometries improve airflow and reduce thermal stress, resulting in more consistent performance under high load.
Full-carbon EVO Aero Kit – racing DNA made visible
Every detail of the new EVO Aero Kit serves a clear purpose: improved aerodynamics, optimised handling and greater stability at high speeds, whilst simultaneously enhancing the vehicle’s visual presence. The complete EVO Aero Kit, inspired directly by racing experience with the KTM X-BOW GT2, is available both as original factory equipment and as a retrofit kit for owners of an existing KTM X-BOW GT-XR.
Louvres: These are precisely integrated into the front and rear wheel arches, optimising airflow, aiding the discharge of high-pressure air and improving cooling.
Front splitter: Optimises airflow around the monocoque, increases grip on the front axle and ensures more precise steering response, whilst simultaneously directing more air to the radiator. New, standard underbody protection plates protect against occasional contact with the road surface.
Dive planes: These are fitted to both sides of the front bumper and generate additional downforce at the front, ensuring better grip, greater stability and improved control at higher speeds.
New Factory Service & Extended Warranty
The factory service is carried out by the very specialists who develop and build the vehicles. Every service includes a thorough inspection and a standardised maintenance programme to maintain the vehicle’s condition, reliability and performance. Every factory service can be accompanied by a warranty extension, offering ongoing protection and peace of mind guaranteed by the manufacturer. Logistics and transport are organised directly by the manufacturer to ensure a smooth and stress-free process.
The ICONIX Programme – More than just exclusivity
For those customers who wish to go beyond the already exclusive, individually numbered KTM X-BOW GT-XR, the ICONIX programme opens up the possibility of complete customisation. Moving beyond the standard configurator, the KTM X-BOW specialists work closely with each owner to realise unique materials, bespoke colours, exclusive textures, personalised badges and individual details. The principle is simple: no two ICONIX vehicles should be alike. Every ICONIX KTM X-BOW is designed to reflect its owner – a car like no other.
