Moto2 team SpeedRS: Luca Boscoscuro signs Moto3 ace Guido Pini

Ahead of the Aragon Grand Prix, Jorge Martinez’s Aspar team announced that the Italian Celestino Vietti will compete for the Spanish side in the Moto2 World Championship alongside Maximo Quiles in 2027. This also meant that the SpeedRS team would have to find a replacement for Vietti. This has already been sorted out, as team boss Luca Boscoscuro found the right man in the Moto3 ranks: Guido Pini will be Luca Lunetta’s new team-mate next year.

As a result, SpeedRS will once again field an all-Italian rider line-up in Moto2 in 2027. Pini has signed a two-year contract. “I’m really looking forward to racing for Team SpeedRS in the Moto2 World Championship next season,” said the 18-year-old. “I’d like to thank Luca Boscoscuro for this opportunity and for the trust he has placed in me by giving me the chance to move up to this class. I’m really looking forward to this new challenge and will give my all from day one to learn something new every day and keep improving.”

Guido Pini: Rookie year in the Moto3 World Championship with Intact GP

Pini is contesting his second season in the Moto3 World Championship in 2026. In 2025, he completed his rookie year with the German Intact team. He finished 13th overall in 2025. He then moved to Leopard Honda in 2026. He secured his first GP victory in Austin. Pini currently sits 11th in the World Championship standings.

We believe in his potential and are convinced that he has what it takes to grow alongside our team and tackle this new challenge with us,” says Luca Boscoscuro with conviction. “As Guido will be with us for two years, we can work together continuously and create the right conditions for his talent to flourish.”
