Noah Dettwiler and Sandro Cortese support Swiss talent in Misano

Former Swiss Moto3 rider Noah Dettwiler and former world champion and TV pundit Sandro Cortese were on hand to watch promising young talents in action at the fourth round of the Italian Championship (CIV) in Misano.

Noah Dettwiler was also spotted in the paddock during the race weekend at the Misano Adriatico Grand Prix circuit. The rider from Aargau has made a very good recovery from his serious Moto3 crash in Sepang in autumn 2025, which resulted in several cardiac arrests. However, contrary to the original plan, Dettwiler has not yet competed in any races.

Sandro Cortese was also present in Misano as a prominent German guest. The Moto3 and Supersport World Champion, now a TV pundit, accepted an invitation from Dettwiler’s management team ‘Sorpasso’ and acted as a mentor and advisor to the young riders. He kept a particularly close eye on the two Swiss talents, Davide Dotta and Alessandro Binder.

Dotta confirmed his strong form at Misano as well. Following impressive results at the first three rounds, he once again secured pole position and finished second in one of the two races. Both young Swiss riders are managed by Daniele Camuso and his management company ‘Sorpasso’, which has also been looking after Dettwiler’s career since his accident. Previously, the Swiss rider had been managed by David Kriech.

Dotta competes in the CIV Moto4 class for Bucci Motos, the junior category below Moto3. Binder rides for Kuja Racing in the Supersport class on a Ducati V2 – the very team for which Dettwiler was originally due to compete.
