Martin Smolinski (41) still struggling with hip problems: Long-track World Championships cancelled!

The 2026 Long-Track World Championships will take place without three-time champion Martin Smolinski. Following serious injuries, he does not currently feel able to compete at this level.

Mühldorf: Erik Riss (30) crowned German Long-Track Champion after race abandoned due to rain

As the final was cancelled following a heavy downpour at the German Long-Track Championship final in Mühldorf, Erik Riss was able to celebrate early on his return to racing.

Hechthausen: William Kruit wins the final – Dave Meijerink overall winner

The sand track race in Hechthausen was dominated by the Dutch. Dave Meijerink was the overall winner, but William Kruit came out on top in the final. Jacob Bukhave (DK) finished third.

Osnabrück: Jacob Bukhave wins - Romano Hummel winner of hearts

The Dane Jacob Bukhave wins the grass track race at the AMG Osnabrück ahead of Romano Hummel. The outstanding Dutchman was unlucky with a disqualification at the start.
