Grasser cancels Lamborghini entry at the Salzburgring

The Grasser Racing Team will not be competing in the ADAC GT Masters at the Salzburgring. The Austrian team had planned to compete on the high-speed circuit with a Lamborghini Huracán GT3, which was to be driven by Gottfried Grasser and Gerhard Tweraser.

The team had already provided plenty of excitement in the ADAC GT Masters at the Nürburgring, and DTM team principal Grasser made his first start in the series since 2013. He made his debut in the ADAC GT Masters in 2011 and contested a total of twelve races up to and including 2013, before adding two more in the Eifel.

The Grasser Racing Team will not be taking part due to its tight racing calendar, having competed in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup the previous week and with the DTM coming up next week.

“Unfortunately, Gottfried doesn’t have time due to the Temerario programme,” Gerhard Tweraser told GT-Place.
