First Ford victory of the 2026 ADAC GT Masters season at the Hockenheimring

Victory for Kiano Blum and Niklas Kalus in the first race of the ADAC GT Masters at the Hockenheimring. Driving the Im Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3, the pair secured a commanding victory in the closing stages. Despite the win, the pair lost all hope of challenging for the title.

Felix Hirsiger and Finn Zulauf finished the race in second place in the Engstler Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán GT3. This saw the pair take the lead in the championship standings ahead of tomorrow’s final race.

Simon Connor Primm and Robin Rogalski completed the podium.

Moments after the pit stop window closed, Colin Bönighausen, driving the razoon – more than racing Porsche which had started the race from pole position, crashed heavily in the first corner. Following a driving error, the driver from Lower Saxony crashed heavily into the barrier. The race was neutralised with a Full Course Yellow.
