Roan van de Moosdijk (Kosak KTM) wins convincingly in Fürstlich Drehna

The ADAC MX Masters season finale took place on the sandy track at Fürstlich Drehna: in perfect late-summer racing conditions, Kosak KTM rider Roan van de Moosdijk – who had already been confirmed as champion before the race – remained unscathed and won both Sunday races in commanding fashion. The Dutchman had also won Saturday’s race in commanding fashion.

A fierce battle for third place

Things got exciting once again towards the end in the battle for third place: Emil Weckmann took the holeshot, van de Moosdijk took the lead on the second lap, and Jörgen-Matthias Talviku – who went into the weekend with a narrow lead of just one point – started among the top seven. The Estonian had to push hard and finish ahead of Jere Haavisto at all costs to secure third place in the end. Talviku fought his way forward with great determination. By the second lap, he had already overtaken Sarholz-KTM rider Tom Koch, and by lap 4 he had moved up to second place. Halfway through the race, a thrilling battle for third place erupted between Haavisto and Talviku. On lap 10, Talviku managed to pull ahead and create a small gap between himself and the riders in front, but he crashed in a right-hand bend. In the crash, he damaged his throttle grip, forcing him to retire from the race in frustration. Jere Haavisto inherited second place and thereby also secured third place in the overall standings of the 2026 ADAC MX Masters. Sarholz-KTM rider Noah Ludwig finished fourth in the overall standings with a 4-7-4 result, moving up to fifth place in the overall standings.

Roan van de Moosdijk unbeatable

Champion Roan van de Moosdijk was the standout performer of the weekend. Jere Haavisto finished second in the day’s standings with a 5-2-2 result, ahead of Tom Koch, who was satisfied with two second places on Sunday following his crash in Saturday’s race. This brings the 2026 ADAC MX Masters to a close. Tom Koch, Noah Ludwig and Valentin Kees (KTM) will be preparing for the Motocross of Nations in Ernée over the coming days.
