ADAC MX Youngster Cup: Nicolai Skovbjerg (Husqvarna) is crowned champion with races to spare

Round 6 of the ADAC MX Youngster Cup in Vellahn: Championship leader Nicolai Skovbjerg (Sixtyseven Racing Husqvarna) won Saturday’s race ahead of Dutch rider Gyan Doensen (Gabriel SS24 KTM). He was followed by two EMX125 riders, Levi Townley (MJC Yamaha) and Ryan Oppliger (Oppliger Racing KTM), who made a strong impression on their 250cc machines.

Gyan Doensen was the day’s winner

The Dutchman won both Sunday races and secured the day’s victory with a 2-1-1 result. Skovbjerg finished the race in second place on the podium with a 1-3-2 result. Sebastian Leok (Husqvarna) took third place on the podium with a 6-2-5 result.

Skovbjerg crowned Youngsters’ Champion ahead of schedule

Nicolai Skovbjerg extended his lead in the standings to 121 points over Sebastian Leok in second place, thereby securing the 2026 ADAC Youngster Cup title in the penultimate race of the season. Ryan Oppliger from Switzerland finished fifth in the overall standings with a 4-7-6 result. The best German rider was Linus Jung (Sarholz-Husqvarna) in 10th place overall.
