Ferrari is gearing up for the future: the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy is the official talent development programme for the Reds, and next year it will comprise eight young drivers. Three new young hopefuls – Daniel Miron from the Netherlands, Alp Aksoy from Turkey and Salim Hanna from Colombia – have been accepted into the prestigious junior squad.
At 13, Miron is the youngest of the three newcomers; he will continue his karting career and move up from the OK Junior class to the OK class, having finished second in the 2026 FIA European Championship. Noah Baglin and Filippo Sala are already one step further along the path, swapping their karts for Formula 4 cars. The Briton and the Italian will compete in the Spanish Formula 4 Championship.
Aksoy, on the other hand, will compete in the European Formula Regional Championship. The 16-year-old, born in Istanbul, managed to catch the eye of the Ferrari scouts in his first season in formula racing. He did so in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and Euro4, where he has so far celebrated three victories at Misano and Paul Ricard.
Formula 2 prospect from Finland
In the F1 Academy, however, everything remains the same, as Alba Larsen will once again be racing under the Ferrari banner in 2027. This year, the 17-year-old Dane celebrated her first two podium finishes in the junior series for female racing drivers with two second-place finishes at Zandvoort. Salim Hanna, who is a year younger, will compete in Formula 3. Niccolò Maccagnani will also be competing there, having moved up after three Formula 4 victories.
And in Formula 2, Tuukka Taponen will be competing in 2027. The Finn is returning to the ART Grand Prix team, with whom he contested his first Formula 3 season in 2025. He is making the step up to Formula 2 after securing one win and two podium finishes this year, as well as finishing third overall.
Next year marks the start of a new chapter for Dino Beganovic and Rafael Camara, who will no longer be part of the Ferrari Driver Academy after 2026. Camara has been confirmed by Haas as a regular Formula 1 driver for the 2027 season, whilst Beganovic will share the role of reserve driver for the Scuderia’s Formula 1 team with Antonio Giovinazzi.
