Euro Moto Hockenheim: Saturday’s schedule – first titles up for grabs

Summer is set to return to the Hockenheimring area this weekend. Perfect conditions for the final practice sessions and races of the season. One or two riders might even be celebrating their new title this evening.

The Penalty Schedule

If a rider is handed a drive-through penalty but this cannot be displayed or enforced before the end of the race, an automatic time penalty will be imposed. This automatic penalty is calculated as follows: the time taken to pass through the pit lane from the pit entrance to the pit exit at 60 km/h + 20 per cent, rounded down to the nearest second. The drive-through time penalty for the Hockenheimring is 23 seconds.

If a driver is given a ‘long lap’ or ‘double long lap’ penalty, but this cannot be displayed or served before the end of the race, a substitute time penalty of two seconds will be imposed for each long-lap penalty imposed.

You can follow all the practice sessions and races throughout the day via the free live stream provided by Bike-Promotion. Radio Viktoria goes on air from 2.15 pm. Eddie Mielke and Lukas Gajewski will be keeping things lively on the mic, whilst Danijel Peric will be out and about with his camera and mic in the paddock, on the starting grid and in the pit lane. Tommi Deitenbach won’t be there this time. Afterwards, you can check out the official results for all classes.
