The colours will be those that accompanied the Italian Marco Simoncelli during his brief MotoGP career. The livery was unveiled on Thursday evening in the presence of Paolo Simoncelli – Marco’s father – Carmelo and Carlos Ezpeleta, Ducati Corse CEO Gigi Dall’Igna, and the entire Gresini team led by Nadia Padovani.

Alex Márquez and Fermin Aldeguer will therefore be racing in white and red on Sunday at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. Both the Ducati Desmosedici bikes and the riders’ leather suits are decked out in these iconic colours.
