Warm-up, Misano: Bezzecchi in white fastest ahead of ‘MM93’, rookie Moreira 3rd.

The battle between Marc Marquez and Marco Bezzecchi continued in the 15-minute warm-up session. Bezzecchi, who had been beaten by the world champion in the sprint but started from pole, quickly clocked times in the 1:31s and was thus at the top of the timesheets. As the session progressed, Fabio Quartararo, Bagnaia and then Marc Marquez also joined the fray at the front.

But Marco Bezzecchi, already out on track in the special white livery like his team-mate Jorge Martin, continued undeterred, getting faster with every lap. On the final lap, the World Championship third-placed rider clocked a time of 1:30.835 min. This left ‘Bez’ almost four tenths behind the number two – who was once again Marc Márquez.

Honda rookie Diogo Moreira put in a strong warm-up. The Moto2 world champion immediately put in a series of fast laps in the top five and finished third at the chequered flag – ahead of Gresini rider Aldeguer, Fabio Quartararo and Alex Marquez. KTM ace Acosta, sixth in the sprint, finished eighth in the warm-up.
