Particularly bitter: Ted and Vincent have to throw in the towel at their home race

With 6th and 5th places at the World Championship opener at the Circuit Bugatti in Le Mans, Ted and Vincent got off to a good start to the new season. In the sprint race, only world champions had crossed the finish line ahead of them, and in the main race they even managed to finish ahead of the experienced Swiss driver Markus Schlosser.

At the races at the Automotodrom in Grobnik/Rijeka, Ted and Vincent Peugeot showed that it is only a matter of time before they stand on the podium for the first time at a World Championship round. In the second race, the multiple German and French champions were in fourth place, but an engine failure thwarted their hopes.

At their home races on the Circuit Européen Pau Arnos, the duo – with the son at the wheel and the father as co-driver – were hoping for a surprise result. However, this was not to be. Even before the second free practice session began, they had to withdraw their entry because they had used up all their engine allocations.
