The ADAC GT4 Germany will enter its ninth season in 2027 and, in the coming year, will step up its support for young talent as part of the ‘Road to DTM’, which opens up a continuous career path from karting right through to the DTM. The prize fund for the ADAC GT4 Germany will rise to around 330,000 euros in cash and non-cash prizes, the majority of which will go towards the ‘Road to DTM’ prize fund. Next year, the races will once again be held within the tried-and-tested framework of the high-profile DTM platform. The series kicks off the season from 23 to 25 April at the spectacular Red Bull Ring, set against a breathtaking mountain backdrop. The champions will be crowned at the season finale from 8 to 10 October at the Hockenheimring.

The established and successful ‘Road to DTM’ programme, which supports young talent from karting right through to the DTM, will be even more firmly anchored in the ADAC GT4 Germany in its fourth season. A new ‘Road to DTM’ classification will be introduced, which – similar to the classification already established in the ADAC GT Masters – rewards not only success in the races but also performance in qualifying, as well as sporting fairness. The winner of the Road to DTM classification can look forward to a substantial prize fund of 235,000 euros, including entry fees, tyre prizes and funding for a season in the ADAC GT Masters, to help them take the next step in their career.

The best example of a successful journey along the ‘Road to DTM’ is Finn Zulauf. The 22-year-old won both the ‘Road to DTM’ package and the ADAC GT4 Germany title in the 2024 season, and took the next step by entering the ADAC GT Masters a year later. Already in his second season in the GT3 junior series, he is impressing with several wins and podium finishes. He heads to Hockenheim for the season finale as one of the title contenders.

The 2027 ADAC GT4 Germany calendar stands out for its consistency and variety. The series has previously visited all six circuits. Following the season opener at the Red Bull Ring in Austria – the series’ only international round – the series heads straight to Germany’s northernmost circuit. For the round from 7 to 9 May at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, ADAC GT4 Germany will return to its tried-and-tested spring slot next year. The absolute highlight will take place from 2 to 4 July at the Norisring in Nuremberg, marking the halfway point of the season. The second half of the season begins from 20 to 22 August at the historic Nürburgring. The decisive phase in the title race will be heralded from 24 to 26 September at the Sachsenring near Chemnitz. As is traditional, the ADAC GT4 Germany will contest the season finale at the Hockenheimring in Baden-Württemberg.
