Comtoyou Racing secures Aston Martin pole position at the Nürburgring

As usual, qualifying for the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup was held over three segments. Each driver completed one segment, and the average time calculated from the lap times recorded determined the starting grid.

The fastest driver in the first segment was McLaren driver Thomas Fleming in the Garage 59 McLaren 720S GT3. The Briton completed a lap in 1:53.412 minutes.

BMW works driver Max Hesse set the fastest lap in the second segment in the WRT BMW M4 GT3. The German completed a lap of the Nürburgring in 1:53.251 minutes.

DTM driver Ben Dörr was the fastest driver in the third segment in the RJN McLaren 720S GT3. With a time of 1:53.070 minutes, he set the fastest lap time of the weekend.

The Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin driven by Marco Sörensen, Nicki Thiim and Mattia Drudi secured pole position with an average lap time of 1:53.591 minutes.

Second place went to the GetSpeed Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Maxime Martin, Maximilian Götz and Fabian Schiller, who were 0.127 seconds off the pace.

Ricardo Feller, Thomas Preining and Bastian Buus complete the top three in the Lionspeed GP Porsche.
