This year’s Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship calendar is a bit of a joke. There are just six rounds spread out between March and October, and there’s a full three months’ gap between the last two race weekends at Donington Park and Jerez. The riders deserve better.

However, we can look forward to a full field of 26 riders at the Circuito de Jerez, featuring new names and faces. Alongside two guest riders, three riders will be competing as substitutes.
Luana Giuliani (Prata Motor Sport) and Carla Molut (GMT94) – two teenagers – are making their debuts in the World Championship. The 18-year-old Italian is replacing Karolina Danak, whilst the 19-year-old Frenchwoman is standing in for her
Krystal Silfa from the Dominican Republic is already a familiar face from the 2024 season. The 22-year-old competed for the Italika team at Misano and Donington, achieving a top-15 finish. Originally scheduled to be a regular rider in 2025, 23-year-old Sarah Varon competed in just one round last year due to a long-term injury. The Colombian had impressed during pre-season testing.
The strongest guest rider is Avalon Lewis from New Zealand. Last season’s eighth-placed rider in the World Championship is supported by DJ Carl Cox.
