ADAC GT Masters driver Colin Jamie Bönighausen suffers a broken thigh

A shock for ADAC GT Masters driver Colin Jamie Bönighauen. The razoon – more than racing driver from Isernhagen suffered a broken thigh in an accident at work shortly after the event at the Lausitzring. At the season opener at the Red Bull Ring, the driver from Lower Saxony won one race.

“Unfortunately, I had a mishap at work earlier this week. My right thigh is broken. It’s a clean fracture,” the driver from Isernhagen said on social media.

Bönighausen will not be on the starting grid for the next ADAC GT Masters race weekend at the Nürburgring. His aim is to return to the Porsche in September at the Salzburgring.

The team will announce at a later date who will be lining up alongside Leo Pichler in the razoon – more than racing Porsche 911 GT3 R at the Nürburgring in July.
