Hockenheim: Jaden Immanuel from India is the 2026 ADAC Junior Cup Champion

The decisions have been made: at the ADAC Junior Cup season finale at the Hockenheimring, Jaden Immanuel secured the championship title ahead of schedule on Saturday. Ole Säuberlich took the race win, thereby also laying the foundations for his runner-up position. On Sunday, Immanuel, Säuberlich and guest starter Louis Wolff were once again locked in a thrilling battle for victory as the season drew to a close.

Säuberlich wins, Immanuel is champion

In the first race on Saturday, Säuberlich enjoyed a perfect day. The German took the lead early on, pulled away from his pursuers and cruised to his first victory in the ADAC Junior Cup. Behind him, guest starter Louis Wolff finished second, whilst Fillin Lorenz came third. Immanuel crossed the finish line in fifth place, thereby securing enough points to be crowned champion even before the final race of the season. “I’m obviously very happy with this weekend. This success at the end of the season means a lot to me and shows just how much we’ve developed over the year,” said a delighted Säuberlich.

For Immanuel, winning the title early was the highlight of a season in which he continued to develop. “Right from the start of the year, I was able to show that I had the pace. After that, I learnt a great deal throughout the season and continued to improve as a rider. The ADAC Junior Cup was great preparation for me ahead of the next step up to Moto4. A big thank you goes to everyone who supported me along the way,” summed up the new champion.

Close three-way battle at the season finale

Even though the championship had already been decided, the battle on Sunday went down to the wire once again. Wolff, Immanuel and Säuberlich were locked in a tight three-way battle. After twelve laps, just 0.335 seconds separated the trio. Guest rider Wolff won by a margin of just 0.227 seconds ahead of Immanuel, with Säuberlich a further 0.108 seconds behind. As Wolff, being a guest rider, did not receive any championship points, the 25 points went to Immanuel and 20 points to Säuberlich.

Behind the leading trio, Patrick Faderl finished fourth. For Lorenz, however, the final race of the season came to a premature end. Neither Paul Linsbichler nor Yevsevii Kovalov saw the chequered flag either. Lorenz could nevertheless look back on his year with satisfaction: “I’ve learnt a great deal this season and gained a lot of experience. There were good weekends, but also difficult ones, from which I was able to take away a lot. I’m very happy with third place in the overall standings.”

This brings the 2026 ADAC Junior Cup to a close with Jaden Immanuel as champion, Ole Säuberlich as runner-up and Fillin Lorenz in third place overall. For Immanuel and Säuberlich, the next step in their careers towards Moto4 is now on the horizon.
