For the first time this season, spectators will see Audi make an appearance in the DTM. Seyffarth Motorsport is fielding an Audi R8 LMS GT3 evo II. At the wheel is young driver Simon Connor Primm.
“The DTM has always been a huge dream of mine. Five years ago, I was still racing karts. That’s why it feels all the more special to be competing in the DTM with Audi this coming weekend,” says the 21-year-old from Großschirma in Saxony, who is contesting his third season in the ADAC GT Masters this year.
Primm competes in the ADAC GT Masters for HGL Racing, which is managed by Seyffarth Motorsport. Simon Connor Primm has impressed in the long-established GT3 racing series with fast lap times and has his team-mate Robin Rogalski well and truly in his sights.
The 2027 MotoGP grid will feature five new regular riders, with at least three of those dropped set to move to the World Superbike Championship. The ones to suffer as a result are Alvaro Bautista and Danilo Petrucci.
