Jules Gounon secures Mercedes-AMG pole at the DTM at the Nürburgring

Jules Gounon has secured pole position for the second DTM race at the Nürburgring. The Frenchman, who lives in Andorra, completed a lap of the circuit in the WINWARD Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 in 1:25.062 minutes.

Second place went to Ben Dörr in the McLaren of his family’s racing team. Dörr was 0.113 seconds behind Gounon in the Mann-Filter Mamba.

Yesterday’s winner, Matteo Cairoli, rounds out the top three in the Emil Frey Racing Ferrari 296 GT3.
