On Monday evening, one day before the show officially opens, Ducati unveiled a range of new models – including the prestigious SP models for 2027. According to the manufacturer, the Panigale V4 SP is the most exclusive version of the Ducati Superbike. This numbered special edition is based on the new Panigale V4 and, according to Ducati, incorporates numerous technical solutions from the Superbike World Championship and MotoGP. The high-specification equipment includes carbon rims, an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, a racing gearbox and other components derived directly from racing.

The 218 PS Desmosedici Stradale engine is fitted with the new ‘Ducati Racing Gearbox’ featuring ‘Neutral Lock’. It also features the Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronic suspension and an adjustable rear-wheel steering system, carried over from the Panigale V4 R. The new aerodynamics package features larger winglets, which increase downforce, as well as ‘Corner Sidepods’, which improve cornering performance. As a result, the Panigale V4 SP offers even greater precision and enables higher cornering speeds. The aim is to provide circuit enthusiasts with a riding experience that comes as close as possible to that of the professionals. The price in Germany: €43,590.

Ducati Panigale V2 SP for the Supersport World Championship

With the new Panigale V2 SP, Ducati aims to bring the new generation of the Panigale V2 to the Supersport World Championship. The model is based on the Panigale V2 S and has been further developed using the experience gained from the Lenovo V2 Future Champs Academy. “With this, Ducati is returning to the original meaning of the SP designation: a production motorbike used to test and validate technical solutions for competition,” says Ducati.

The Panigale V2 SP combines the 120 PS Ducati V2 engine with variable valve timing with a chassis designed specifically for maximum track performance. This includes Öhlins suspension components, a longer swingarm for greater stability and precision, lighter forged rims and a dry clutch. Thanks to a state-of-the-art electronics package and numerous modifications to improve agility, traction and control, the Panigale V2 SP stands out as the most specialised supersport model in the V2 family and as a direct link between racing and the Ducati production range.

Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP in ‘Winter Test’ livery

The SP range for 2027 is rounded off by the Streetfighter V4 SP. This is the most exclusive version of Ducati’s high-performance naked bike. ‘This numbered special edition is aimed at riders who do not wish to compromise on technology, performance or racing equipment,’ promises Ducati. The motorbike is based on the Streetfighter V4 and features the traditional ‘Winter Test’ design, as well as technical components derived directly from racing experience. Key features include carbon rims, which reduce weight and inertia whilst improving agility and steering precision, the STM EVO-SBK dry clutch, a racing final drive ratio and adjustable, solid-machined footrests.

The 214 PS Desmosedici Stradale engine is combined with the latest-generation electronic Öhlins suspension and a braking system enhanced by a Brembo MCS brake master cylinder with remote adjustment. “The result is an extreme yet high-quality naked bike designed to deliver maximum riding pleasure both on the road and on the racetrack, whilst retaining the unmistakable character of the most powerful streetfighter of all time,” says Ducati. The price in Germany: €36,990.
