Euro Moto Assen: Sunday’s schedule – six races streamed

The starting grid has been decided, the first points were awarded on Saturday, and today the main aim – particularly for the Euro Moto Superbike class – is to bag as many points as possible.

The sectors

Sector 1 starts at the zero line and runs to kilometre 1.562. Sector 2 continues from there to kilometre 3.367. The rest of the track is covered by Sector 3, which runs back to the zero line at kilometre 4.555.

No comparison

As always, comparisons with lap times from MotoGP, the Superbike World Championship or the British Championship are out of the question. These series race on the long version of the circuit. All other series, including Euro Moto, race on the version with the additional chicane at Turn 6.

The guests

The number of wildcard entries in the 2026 Euro Moto is modest. Nevertheless, a few riders did manage to muster the courage to compete in the successor to the IDM at Assen. In the Pro Superstock 1000 class, last year’s winner #20 Ricardo Brink turned up with the RB4 Racing Team Honda. With this appearance, the Dutchman is also preparing for the British Championship races, which will once again be held at Assen this year for their sole overseas round. Brink will be competing in the Stocksport class of the BSB.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR Cup is the most crowded class, with a total of 31 riders. Among them are guest riders: Nathan Mouton from Belgium, Rocco Kempker from Laggenbeck Ibbenbühren, Chiara Kranz from Rottenburg and Andreas Beel from Wietmarschen. The ADAC Junior Cup is hardly any less well-attended, with 29 participants. Among the guests are: Viktor Cech from the Czech Republic, Justin Kräutler from Karlsbad (Germany), and from the Netherlands, Leroy van Dooren, Quonn de Joode and Levi Flier. From Belgium: Zenno Bulté. Also Mick Coome, Tudor Adrian Dedea from Schwalmtal and Jason Rudolph from St. Egidien.

In the Euro Moto Sportbike class, World Championship rider Jeffrey Buis was a guest rider on a Suzuki GSX-8R for Team Track & Trades Wixx Racing. In the Euro Moto Supersport class, Finnish rider Juho Kantola had registered as a guest on a Ducati Panigale V2 for Team Ducati JK36. The Euro Moto Superbike class had to make do without any guest riders.

The live stream

From 12.55 pm, you can settle down in front of the telly and follow the races via live stream. Lukas Gajewski and Tommi Deitenbach will be on the mic for Radio Viktoria. As always, Danijel Peric will be out and about on the grid and in the pit lane with his camera and microphone.
