Whilst ‘Dangerboy’ Hayden Deegan and Jett Lawrence (Honda) battled for the lead in the first race at Thunder Valley (Colorado), father and freestyle legend Brian Deegan, along with Jeremy McGrath, Ricky Carmichael and Travis Pastrana, as the motocross and freestyle legends were themselves in action that afternoon against a historic backdrop.

Freestyle motocross show right outside the White House

A freestyle motocross show was held for the first time on the lawn in front of the White House in Washington, D.C. The event took place as part of the celebrations marking the 250th anniversary of the United States and coincided with UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) activities in Washington.

This is one of those moments when the impossible somehow becomes possible.

Travis Pastrana, co-founder of Nitro Circus, assembled a star-studded team of motocross and freestyle motocross legends: Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Brian Deegan, Jeremy 'Twitch' Stenberg and Keith Sayers. Hardly ever before have so many stars stood together on the ramp for a single show act. With spectacular jumps, backflips and freestyle tricks, they put on an impressive show.
