Bronze Cup leader Dustin Blattner is absent due to injury

Kessel Racing has made a driver change for the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup round at the Nürburgring. Dustin Blattner, who leads the Bronze Cup in the Endurance Cup and the overall standings, will not be able to compete in the Eifel. The American is still recovering from the injuries he sustained during the last Sprint Cup weekend at Magny-Cours. Dustin Blattner is likely to return to the GT World Challenge Europe line-up at Zandvoort.

He will be replaced by Constantin Dressler, who has already been working with him as a coach in recent years. Dressler also drives for Proton Competition in the 24H Series.

The driver change also has implications for the championship standings. Ahead of the event at the Nürburgring, Dustin Blattner shares the lead with Dennis Marschall in the Bronze Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and in the overall GT World Challenge Europe standings.
