Haupt Racing Team with new Ford drivers at the Nürburgring

As usual, the Haupt Racing Team will be fielding two Ford Mustang GT3s at the Nürburgring in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup. The Drees-based team is, however, reshuffling the driver line-up for the Silver Cup car.

Maxime Oosten will not be competing in the Eifel. Due to a clash of dates with the GT World Challenge Asia, the fast Dutch driver will be unable to take part. ADAC GT Masters driver Max Reis will also not be competing at the Nürburgring on the last weekend in August. Of the regular drivers, only Eduardo Coseteng will be on the starting grid.

Instead, Niklas Kalus, another ADAC GT Masters driver, will take the wheel of the #65 Mustang GT3. Kalus will thus make his debut in Europe’s top GT3 series. DTM driver Nicolas Baert completes the driver line-up. For the Belgian, who normally competes in an Aston Martin, this will be his first race in a Ford Mustang GT3.

As usual, the Pro car will be driven by Thomas Drouet, Arjun Maini and Fabio Scherer.
