Paradine Competition completes BMW line-up for the Spa 24 Hours

The Spa 24-Hour Race, which has been held annually since 1924, is one of the most prestigious endurance races in the world. Today, it is regarded as the crown jewel of both the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS and the Intercontinental GT Challenge. Paradine Competition will be lining up with two BMW M4 GT3 EVOs and is returning to the Ardennes circuit following a successful prologue in May.

The BMW M4 GT3 EVO with start number 991 continues its season in the Bronze Cup category, having finished third at Paul Ricard and fifth at Monza. David Pittard and Leyton Fourie are joining the team, forming the driver line-up alongside Paradine Competition team owner Darren Leung and regular driver James Kellett.

Meanwhile, following a top-ten finish at Monza, the BMW bearing start number 992 will once again compete in the Silver Cup. The driver line-up at Spa is completed by Ian Aguilera, who will line up alongside Christian Hahn, Josh Rowledge and Jop Rappange.

The 34-year-old Pittard is a familiar name to regular fans of endurance racing and brings a long and successful career to the team. He was previously a works driver for Aston Martin Racing and won the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring in 2023 in a privately entered Ferrari. He is also a class winner in the FIA WEC and has stood on the podium at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Pittard currently drives the BMW M4 GT3 EVO in the GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup, where he forms a duo with his Paradine Competition team-mate Rappange.

Fourie completes the line-up for the #991 car and will make his debut at the 24 Hours of Spa – another milestone in a career characterised by racing in BMW cars. The 20-year-old has won several races at the wheel of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO in the ADAC GT Masters and finished second in the overall standings in 2025. He celebrated his most recent victory last weekend at the Lausitzring, where he was also crowned the mid-season champion.

In the car bearing start number 992, Aguilera will bolster the Paradine Competition line-up – hot on the heels of his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he secured a respectable fifth place in the highly competitive LMP2 class. The 19-year-old is a member of the Escuderia Telmex programme, which aims to promote Latin American racing drivers worldwide, and has previously competed in the European Le Mans Series, the Asian Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup.

Team owner Darren Leung: “The 24 Hours of Spa is the biggest event on our calendar. Last month’s prologue went well for us, so we’re returning full of confidence. I’m confident about our chances with the line-up we’ve put together. It’s a good mix of talent and experience. I’d like to extend a warm welcome to Leyton and Ian, who are joining us for the first time. Both have a strong track record, and I’m sure they’ll fit in well with us. David, for his part, has proven that he has what it takes to perform well in major races – that’s a huge advantage. This race hasn’t been particularly kind to us in recent years, which only makes us even more determined to achieve a good result this time round.”
