WEC champion to race for Pure Rxcing at Misano and Zandvoort

A high-profile new signing for Pure Rxcing ahead of the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup event at Misano. Riccardo Pera will be racing for the team. Pera will also be racing for the Porsche team at Zandvoort in September.

Riccardo Pera will replace Alexey Nesov in the Porsche racing team’s line-up, following the end of Nesov’s partnership with Pure Rxcing after the 24 Hours of Spa. Nesov impressed with fast lap times in the GT World Challenge Europe and during his guest appearance in the ADAC GT Masters at Zandvoort.

In 2025, Pera won the LMGT3 class championship in the FIA WEC with a Manthey Porsche and also won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the GT class. This year, he is competing with the Meuspath-based team in the World Endurance Championship and the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He is also competing in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with Rutronik Racing.

At Misano, the Pure Rxcing Porsche 911 GT3 R will be driven by Alex Malykhin alongside Riccardo Pera. The duo will compete in the Silver Cup.
