Although the Superbike World Championship was founded by the American Steve McLaughlin, Italy is something of a home for this production-based world championship – thanks to the long-standing promoter Infront, iconic circuits such as Monza and Imola, and the numerous teams and riders based in Italy. And precisely because the EICMA motorbike show in Milan is such an important event, the World Championship is represented with its own stand.
This year, EICMA will take place from 3 to 8 November at a new venue: the state-of-the-art Fiera Milano Rho exhibition centre. With over 754 exhibitors, the 2026 edition is set to be the most international yet, as 74 per cent of the brands represented come from outside Italy.
Among the riders from the World Superbike Championship paddock who will be in attendance are the 2026 World Champion, Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), and his team-mate Iker Lecuona. For Bulega, who is moving to MotoGP, this is likely to be his final appearance as an active Superbike rider.
Among the Ducati customer riders, Yari Montella and Álvaro Bautista (both Barni Spark), Alberto Surra (Motocorsa), Lorenzo Baldassarri (GoEleven), Sam Lowes (Marc VDS) and Tommy Bridewell (Advocates) will be signing autographs and posing for selfies.
Yamaha is sending its factory riders Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus) as well as Remy Gardner and Stefano Manzi (Giansanti Racing) to EICMA.
From the support series, Supersport World Champion Albert Arenas, runner-up Valentin Debise alongside team-mate Federico Caricasulo (ZX Moto) and Sportbike World Champion Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki), as well as WorldWCR riders Emily Bondi (FT Racing Academy) and Denise Dal Zotto will be in attendance.
This list is not exhaustive; it includes only the confirmed riders.
Also taking part: Superbike legend Troy Bayliss, Marco Melandri and Ruben Xaus, who will compete against each other on Saturday and Sunday as part of the Champions Charity Race.
