After a frustrating Saturday: Felix Hirsiger puts the Lamborghini on pole position

Swiss driver Felix Hirsiger has secured pole position for the second ADAC GT Masters race at the Salzburgring. Driving the LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler Lamborghini Huracán GT3, the Swiss driver completed a lap in 1:16.730 minutes. In doing so, Hirsiger set a new series lap record on the high-speed circuit. The day before, Hirsiger and Finn Zulauf suffered technical problems on their way to the grid and were only able to start the race around 20 minutes behind the rest of the field.

Kiano Blum finished second in the Haupt Racing Team Ford Mustang GT3. The local hero was 0.314 seconds off the fastest time.

Returning driver Colin Bönighausen took third place in the razoon – more than racing Porsche on his comeback following a broken thigh.
