Lamborghini victory from the back of the grid at the Salzburgring

Finn Zulauf and Felix Hirsiger put on a display of dominance in the LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler Lamborghini Huracán GT3 in the second ADAC GT Masters race at the Salzburgring. Following a spectacular comeback from last on the grid, the duo secured victory in the second race on the high-speed circuit at Nesselgraben. The two Lamborghini drivers have thus reduced the gap to championship leaders Tim Zimmermann and Leyton Fourie to five points.

Second place went to Leo Pichler and Colin Bönighausen in the razoon – more than racing Porsche 911 GT3 R. After 80 minutes of racing, they were seconds behind the winning Lamborghini.

Jamie Day and Baudouin Detout in the Comtoyou Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 completed the podium. The pair also staged a strong comeback after serving a penalty lap on the first lap.
