Date set for Mirko Bortolotti’s appeal hearing

Winner Mirko Bortolotti has been disqualified from Sunday’s DTM race at Oschersleben. The Grasser Racing Team’s Lamborghini Temerario GT3 was fitted with a wheel bearing that did not comply with DTM GT3 homologation or a reference part. As this constitutes a breach of Article 5.1 of the sporting regulations, the car was removed from the results.

On 13 August, the Grasser Racing Team announced its intention to lodge an appeal within the stipulated timeframe. The team lodged this appeal within the stipulated timeframe and, following the granting of an extension, provided written grounds for it.

The date for the hearing of the case before the DMSB Appeals Tribunal has been set for 25 September 2026 at 15:00.

Until the Appeals Court has reached a decision, the result of Sunday’s race at Oschersleben remains provisional.
