DTM commentator Tobi Schimon releases documentary on his debut in the BMW M2 Cup

DTM commentator Tobi Schimon made his motorsport debut as part of the DTM support programme at the Nürburgring. The Franconian-born driver took to the track in the VIP car in the BMW M2 Cup. Jan-Erik Slooten and rally champion Marijan Griebel had previously driven the car at earlier race weekends.

Schimon has published a short documentary on YouTube about his participation at the historic circuit in the Eifel and how he previously earned his licence.

After the weekend, Schimon said that he’d thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the new one-make cup.
