Alex Lynn and Ricky Taylor for Cadillac in the 2026 FIA WEC

There are still four rounds to go in the 2026 FIA WEC season. First up is the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. This will be followed by Fuji in Japan, then Barcelona-Catalunya and the finale at Monza. As is well known, Cadillac is competing in the World Endurance Championship with two V-Series.R cars, fielded by the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. However, the #12 car will be driven by different drivers in the upcoming races.

This has been the case throughout the season. Norman Nato and Will Stevens have contested all the 2026 races so far. Alex Lynn was originally intended to be their co-driver. However, the Briton had to undergo shoulder surgery – and has therefore not yet completed a 2026 WEC race. Nato and Stevens mostly drove as a duo at Spa-Francorchamps, but Louis Delétraz joined them as the third driver for the highlight event at Le Mans.

Cadillac/JOTA has now announced that Lynn will return for the final two races of the season at Barcelona-Catalunya and Monza. “I’m looking forward to racing again with the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA. I’ve undergone a long and thorough rehabilitation programme and am making good progress. Over the coming weeks and months, I’ll be getting back into racing shape through a combination of physiotherapy, training, test drives and simulator work to ensure I’m in top form for the race in Barcelona. I’ve been supporting the team from afar and will be keeping my fingers crossed for them at the next race at COTA,” says Lynn.

However, Norman Nato and Will Stevens will not be competing as a duo at the upcoming event at COTA. That’s because works driver Ricky Taylor will be joining them in the car. “I’m absolutely delighted to be joining the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA for the race at COTA as part of the WEC championship,” says Taylor. “I know Will and Norman well from their time at WTR. COTA is a fantastic circuit, and I’m really looking forward to returning to Austin. The Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA has put in some strong performances throughout the year. We’ve been following the team closely and keeping our fingers crossed for them. I’ll do my best to help secure another good result at COTA.”

However, Cadillac/JOTA has not yet commented on the race at Fuji. It is quite possible that Nato and Will Stevens will indeed be racing as a duo again in Japan.
