A heatwave has been sweeping across Western Europe for days, breaking temperature records. It’s set to be hot in Styria this weekend too. The 2026 Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is therefore likely to be a battle against the heat.
What will the weather be like for the F1 race in Austria?
Temperatures of up to 31 degrees in the shade are forecast for all three days of the race weekend, with Formula 1 action on the track. Light cloud may roll in on Saturday, but otherwise the forecast is currently for nothing but sunshine.
Where can the F1 race be watched on TV?
In Austria, the Grand Prix in Styria can be watched live on ServusTV. ORF 1 will show a repeat late on Sunday evening. In Switzerland, qualifying and the race will be broadcast: on Saturday on SRF zwei and on Sunday on SRF info. In Germany, Sky will broadcast the event as usual.

Topic of the week: MotoGP’s new schedule proved highly controversial
In 2027, MotoGP will also enter the 850cc era with a new schedule. It was not so much the changes themselves as the way the decisions were reached that caused a stir. A prime example of: ‘Talking helps’.
