Red Bull Ring Classics 2026: A full racing programme for the whole family

Historic dream cars from the world of international motorsport and Hollywood are on display at the Red Bull Ring from today, freshly polished and ready to amaze visitors over the course of two days.

Eight racing series, show runs, a car exhibition, the open paddock, pit lane walks, side events and ‘Legends Talks’ with racing idols await fans at the Red Bull Ring Classics 2026.

Breathtaking racing cars will be putting their foot down in eight historic racing series. On the starting grid are: BMW Challenge, Boss GP, Class One Revival, Colmore Youngtimer Touring Car Challenge, Formula Vau, Golden Era Classic Cup, Historic Formula Challenge and Interwetten SportsCar Challenge.

Car exhibition with best regards from Hollywood

Visitors’ eyes will be sparkling throughout the entire race weekend. Legendary cars from the ‘Fast & Furious’ series, phenomenal racing cars from the early days of Formula 1 and other automotive treasures will be within touching distance at the vehicle exhibition. Some of them will take to the track for demonstration runs.

Autograph session with Dr Helmut Marko and motorsport idols

Numerous idols from the world of motorsport will be in attendance at the Red Bull Ring Classics 2026. In the Fan Zone, Karl Wendlinger, Christian Klien, Mathias Lauda, Dirk Adorf, Bernd Schneider and Arturo Merzario will share anecdotes from their careers during ‘Legends Talks’. On Sunday afternoon, fans will have the chance to get autographs from Dr Helmut Marko.

Fan Zone, open paddock, pit lane walks

Before and between the racing action, visitors can get a taste of motorsport in the open paddock, the Fan Zone and the Kids’ Area, away from the GP circuit. Right next to the pits, fans can take part in a Pit Lane Walk on both Saturday and Sunday to enjoy a close-up look inside the teams’ garages. There, they’ll also meet drivers and marvel at impressive racing cars up close. Motorsport fun for the whole family is guaranteed!

Side events at Spielberg

On Service Road tours, fans venture along routes normally reserved for a select few and motorsport photographers. The ‘Crazy Marshals’ will thrill the crowds with flag choreographies, whilst the ‘Red Bull Rotorwings’ will enchant spectators with breathtaking aerial displays over the Spielberg.
