A bombshell! Chinese manufacturer Kove to enter the MXGP World Championship in 2027

The Chinese manufacturer Kove had originally planned to compete in the EMX250 series next year. Now, it is even planning to enter the MXGP in 2027.

KOVE will enter the FIM Motocross World Championship in 2027 with its own factory racing team and two factory riders. Tom Steensels has been appointed as team manager. The rider line-up is to be announced shortly.

Official statement from Kove

“This marks the start of a long-term factory programme,” the team stated in its announcement. “We have a clear goal: to establish Kove at the very highest level of motocross and make it competitive.”
