Hope for Jeremy Seewer: a return as early as Foxhills with KTM?

Immediately after parting ways with the Ducati factory team, Jeremy Seewer announced that he was planning a return to competition in the near future. Rumours were already circulating on the sidelines of the Grand Prix in Montevarchi that the Swiss rider might join the KTM satellite team, van Venrooy KTM. Shortly before the German Grand Prix, the team signed Dutch rider Rick Elzinga, who had himself left the Beta works team. So now Jeremy Seewer could also be set to ride for van Venrooy KTM. The team is also fielding two Hungarian riders this year: Noel Zanocz in the MX2 World Championship and Áron Katona in the EMX250.

Negotiations with van Venrooy and KTM

Radio Fahrerlager reports that negotiations are already at an advanced stage. If all goes well, the Swiss rider could be on the starting grid as early as the 12th round of the Motocross World Championship on 19 July at Foxhill. The team is set to receive additional factory support from KTM. Seewer has recently tested several bikes and immediately felt at home on the KTM.
