It’s a sight that takes some getting used to: Jeremy Seewer on a KTM. Following his departure from Ducati Corse, the Swiss rider is returning to the World Championship this weekend at Foxhill with van Venrooy KTM: fully motivated after a few weeks’ breather

Recharging his batteries for the rest of the season

“After the split, I went home and took a few days off to catch my breath and recharge my batteries,” he explained in an interview with Lisa Leyland ahead of the British Grand Prix. “After that tough period, I needed a break first of all, but I was also immediately keen to start something new. I wouldn’t have thought it possible myself that it would happen so quickly and that I’d end up here, but I’ve done it and I’m delighted about it.”

Improving performance as a process

“Now I want to get back to my usual form step by step – to the Jeremy Seewer who can fight for podium places and win races,” explains the Swiss rider. “I feel much better, I’m enjoying riding again and I’m having fun in training. My speed is already a fair bit better. Of course, you can’t expect miracles, because it took me a long time to reach the level I was at before. But I’m on the right track now.”
