All four world championships will be in action at the Superbike World Championship in Jerez. Alongside the top category and the Supersport World Championship, the Sportbike Series and the Women’s World Championship will also be holding their season finales – with the titles still to be decided in both of the latter. Maria Herrera could clinch this year’s title as early as the first race on Saturday with a tenth-place finish.
Since Eurosport withdrew from broadcasting the series, fans of the Superbike World Championship in German-speaking countries have had only two options: ServusTV and the official website WorldSBK.com.
Although ServusTV’s linear broadcasting in Germany and Switzerland ceased at the end of 2023, both countries still have access to the digital platform ServusTV On, which will continue to broadcast the Superbike World Championship extensively, free of charge and in HD via live stream in 2026. The programmes will be presented by Philipp Krummholz, with Stefan Nebel providing expert commentary. From Jerez, continuous coverage of all categories will begin on Saturday and Sunday
In Austria, coverage will generally remain as usual via linear broadcasting. On Saturday and Sunday, the live broadcast on free-to-air TV begins at 2.40 pm on both days. The Superpole and the Superpole Race will also be shown as repeats before the main races.
The signal for the domestic market is provided by the Austrian private broadcaster to, amongst others, German and Swiss providers. Through the granting of secondary rights, broadcasts may therefore also be shown by providers not mentioned here. For example, the specialist channel ServusTV Motorsport has been available since June 2021; in Germany, it is broadcast exclusively via Telekom’s Magenta TV, but is not included in the basic package.
Dorna itself offers the most comprehensive coverage via its live stream on its own website, worldsbk.com. Anyone opting for the Video Pass for the final round will, for €4.99, gain access not only to all sessions of the race weekend but also to the complete video archive.
