Eli Tomac (KTM) returns to competition following a neck injury

Following his neck injury at the opening round of the US Nationals in Pala, Red Bull KTM factory rider Eli Tomac will be back on the starting grid this coming Saturday at the Spring Creek National. Tomac had overstretched ligaments in his neck and suffered a torn muscle in a crash. This happened on 30 May. His rehabilitation took six weeks.

Preparation for SMX Playoffs

The championship round at Spring Creek (Minnesota) marks the seventh of 11 championship rounds. Whilst his return will have no bearing on the outcome of the AMA Pro Motocross Championships, the timing of his return is ideal for him to get back into shape in time for the start of the SMX Playoffs in September.
