Christian Engelhart’s Lamborghini will not be on the starting grid on Sunday

Christian Engelhart’s second Grasser Racing Team Lamborghini Temerario GT3 will be unable to take part in the second DTM race at the Nürburgring.

In the closing stages of the first race, the DTM returnee was involved in a heavy collision with Thierry Vermeulen in the Emil Frey Racing Ferrari. As a result, the Temerario GT3 sustained severe damage to the front end.

The car – which is a new chassis and was competing in its first race weekend – was damaged so badly that it cannot be repaired on site.

As a result, only 20 cars will be able to take part in the second DTM race in the Eifel.
