Official: Isack Hadjar (Red Bull Racing) will also have to sit out the Monza race!

Bitter news for Isack Hadjar! The Frenchman will also miss this coming weekend’s race in Italy. The 21-year-old Red Bull Racing driver injured his wrist during the summer break and was therefore already forced to sit out the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort two weeks ago.

Hadjar also out at Monza – but encouraging progress!

It remained unclear for a long time whether Hadjar would be fit in time for the Italian weekend – until now. It is now clear that the recovery period leading up to the Italian Grand Prix at Monza was not long enough – so Hadjar will once again have to watch from the sidelines this weekend, even though he is making “encouraging progress”, as his team has announced.

As was the case in the Netherlands, Liam Lawson from Racing Bulls will step in to replace Hadjar at Red Bull Racing. The team added the following regarding Hadjar’s recovery: “The team will closely monitor his rehabilitation, will not take any unnecessary risks regarding his return to competition, and wishes him a speedy recovery.”
