Hockenheim: ADAC WildCard Challenge 2026 and test drives for everyone

Once again this year, the ADAC is offering ambitious and suitably fast amateur racers the chance to secure a wildcard for the season finale in the Pro Superstock 1000 class. Anyone wishing to chat to the speedy riders – including one female rider – will find the ADAC team in Pit 45.

Seven men and one woman

The requirements for securing one of the coveted wildcards are simple. You just need to be fast enough. Your lap times on any of the Euro Moto circuits must not exceed 110 per cent of the benchmark time. The fastest lap time recorded so far in the Pro Superstock 1000 class at Hockenheim is 1:27.60 minutes. Prospective entrants must demonstrate a time of this figure plus 10 per cent to qualify.

The background

To support talented motorbike racers and minimise the barriers to licensed racing, the ADAC is offering new opportunities. The package for taking part in the ADAC WildCard Challenge includes a B licence, if not already held. Entry fees are also covered. The fastest rider in each series receives six tyres as a bonus. The runner-up receives a further three tyres. As was the case last year, the fastest riders in each Challenge will also be honoured with a trophy at the prize-giving ceremony.

Honda and Kawasaki will be on site at the Euro Moto Final with their respective roadshows. On Saturday and Sunday, you can hop on for test rides between 11 am and 5 pm.

Honda is bringing no fewer than 25 motorbikes from the 2026 model year. These include several recent new models such as the CB1000F, CB1000GT and CB1000 Hornet. Sports bike enthusiasts won’t be disappointed either: the Fireblade and CBR600RR are also available for test rides. The CB125R, with its easy handling, is waiting for holders of an A1 or B196 driving licence. With the WN7, Honda is also unveiling its first fully-fledged electric motorbike.

Kawasaki is bringing eleven selected models from the 2026 model year to the Motodrom in Baden. The new Z1100 SE, a sporty-touring evolution, sets new trends in the upper segment of naked bikes. For the mid-range segment, and A2 riders in particular, the KLE500 SE is on offer. The Kawasaki Z H2 SE remains a technical highlight as the supercharged flagship. For fans of classic bikes, there’s the Z900RS SE.

Anyone wishing to test ride a bike should book their place in advance. Test rides can be booked online in advance via (www.honda.de) and (www.kawasaki-roadshow.de), or on-site. To take part in a test ride, you must bring the following with you: a valid driving licence, ID card and a full set of protective gear (helmet, gloves, jacket, boots, etc.). According to euromoto.racing, the first test ride of the day is free of charge. Anyone wishing to compare a second model directly (maximum of two test rides per day) can make a donation of 10 euros to MEHRSi – Safety for Bikers. 100 per cent of the amount will be passed on to the charity and will support specific measures to improve road safety.
