Next year, there will be two Grand Prix events in China. Alongside the established World Championship venue in Shanghai, the circuit in Ziyang in Sichuan Province will be added to the calendar. Ziyang is situated between Chengdu and Chongqing, in the heart of China’s ‘Moto Valley’. The MXGP of Ziyang is scheduled to take place on 11 and 12 September 2027.

“The new World Championship round in Ziyang is part of Infront Moto Racing’s long-term strategy,” explains the series organiser. “We want to further expand the World Championship’s presence in Asia.”

3 overseas races

The first race is in early May, the second in September. This adds another overseas race to the calendar: Argentina, China and the Turkey–China–Australia tour.
