The circuit was built in 1972, just five kilometres from the Italian coastal town of Misano Adriatico. It has been part of the MotoGP calendar since 2007. The circuit is 4.226 km long, with the longest straight measuring just 530 m. With its ten right-hand and six left-hand bends, this challenging track is set to deliver thrilling racing action across all classes once again this year.

In 2025, Aprilia star Marco Bezzecchi won the MotoGP Sprint ahead of Alex Márquez (Gresini Ducati) and Fabio Di Giannantonio (VR46 Ducati). Marc Márquez (Ducati Lenovo) won the Grand Prix ahead of Bezzecchi and AM73.

Jorge Martin (Aprilia) arrives at the Adriatic circuit as the championship leader. The ‘Martinator’ currently holds a 19-point lead over MM93 and a 24-point advantage over ‘Bez’ in the overall standings.

In Misano, alongside the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes, the Red Bull Rookies will also be on the grid. The MotoGP sprint on Saturday begins at 3 pm, and on Sunday the usual order will be maintained with the Moto3 race starting at 11 am. The highlight will be the 27-lap MotoGP race at 2.00 pm.
