Challenge livestream: Can Kai Huckenbeck qualify for the European Championship?

While the football World Cup is being held in North America, the focus in Italy this weekend is more on the Superbike World Championship in Misano and speedway sport, as the "Squadra Azzura" is once again not taking part.

In the European Speedway Championship Challenge in Lonigo, six places are at stake, which will join last year's top six in the four-part final round. Kai Huckenbeck, a German, is among the contenders, while Denmark's Mikkel Michelsen, who has already won the title three times, is one of the most prominent contenders for a place in the European Championship. The line-up is very evenly matched, so we can expect a spectacular evening of racing in Italy. Following the race in Lonigo, the twelve qualifiers will be joined by a further three drivers who have been nominated with permanent wildcards.
