Sensational news: Red Bull brings Robin Räikkönen (11) into its junior programme!

Robin Räikkönen, one of the most promising talents of his generation, is joining the Red Bull Junior Team. From 2027, the young Finn will be part of the Red Bull junior programme, which has already supported numerous drivers on their path to Formula 1.

Robin Räikkönen has been involved in karting since early childhood and has already achieved success in national and international Rotax and WSK championships.

Robin, now 11-year-old Robin is the son of Kimi Räikkönen, the 2007 Formula 1 World Champion, who recorded 21 Grand Prix victories and 103 podium finishes across 19 Formula 1 seasons between 2001 and 2021.

Red Bull Racing Team Principal Laurent Mekies: “Robin has already demonstrated exceptional skill in karting. His pace, his understanding of the race and his natural talent have made him one of the most promising young drivers in his age group. At the same time, he impresses with his maturity, his calm demeanour and his clear focus on driving.”
