Swiss rider Mauro Poncini (29) dies in a crash during Manx GP practice
As announced by the Swiss Moto Federation, the rider who died yesterday whilst practising for the Manx Grand Prix was Mauro Poncini. The Ticino native was just 29 years old.

Cerveny, Najman, Vit: Czech one-two-three in the IRRC Supersport
The second IRRC Supersport race at Horice ended with a Czech clean sweep. Marek Cerveny won ahead of Petr Najman and Matej Vit. Wolfgang Schuster finished a creditable sixth, just as he did in Race 1.
Laurent Hoffmann wins, Nico Müller on the podium, title goes to Fedrik Matthys
The second race of the European Road Racing Series in Horice was also won by Laurent Hoffmann. However, he was unable to prevent Fedrik Matthys from clinching the title. Nico Müller finished third.
Petr Najman edges out Marek Cerveny, with Wolfgang Schuster in P6
The three riders who are also dominating the championship finished the first IRRC Supersport race at Horice in the top three places. Wolfgang Schuster came sixth, Rico Vetter ninth.
