Swiss MXoN team: Jeremy Seewer (KTM) returns to MX2

Switzerland has unveiled its squad for the 2026 Motocross of Nations. It is an experienced team that competed in this line-up four years ago. In 2022, the Swiss finished 9th at the MXoN in RedBud (USA). In 2025, they came eighth.

Jeremy Seewer to compete in the MX2

It is noteworthy that Jeremy Seewer will be competing in the MX2 class. Seewer is a lightweight and, given his height, is ideally suited to this class. This will be his 14th appearance as a Swiss national rider. Having Jeremy Seewer in the MX2 class is a strategically clever move, as in the team classification – which is, after all, what the Motocross of Nations is all about – having a strong MX2 rider is particularly important.

15th appearance for MXGP rider Valentin Guillod

For Valentin Guillod, the race in Ernée will actually be his 15th MXoN appearance. This year, Guillod is competing in the AMA Pro Motocross Championships, where he currently sits in 16th place after 10 of 11 events.

Open-class rider Kevin Brumann is currently still injured

Kevin Brumann is set to compete in the Open class. He is currently still recovering from his serious crash in Uddevalla (Sweden), where the race had to be red-flagged following a collision with Jago Geerts. However, Brumann is expected to be fit again in time for Ernée.
