Porsche dominates a rainy day of practice at the Suzuka 1000km

Practice 1:

The first practice session of the Suzuka 1000km ended with a Porsche setting the fastest time. Reigning DTM champion Ayhancan Güven set the fastest time in the Absolute Racing Porsche, completing a lap in 2:11.077 minutes.

Second place went to Maxime Martin in the Mercedes-AMG Team Craft-Bamboo Racing car. The Belgian was 0.397 seconds off the Turkish driver’s fastest time.

Max Hesse, in the Team KRC BMW M4 GT3, rounded off the top three positions.

Practice 2:

Güven also set the fastest time in the second practice session in the Absolute Racing Porsche. In the wet session, the Porsche works driver completed a lap in 2:17.376 minutes.

Ben Green finished second in the Johor Motorsports Racing Corvette. He was 1.012 seconds behind the Porsche star.

Maxime Oosten, in the Team KRC BMW, rounded off the top three.
